CONTEST

In September 2014, Livelihoods and SOS SAHEL launched the international contest “Farmers have talent!”. Contest winners have all implemented inspiring projects that have improved the livelihoods of family farmers. They were invited to participate in the Livelihoods Camp 2015 (February 23-26, 2015) where they presented their initiatives, met a variety of committed stakeholders and participated in fruitful workshops. The application deadline was November 8, 2014.

What did contest winners win?

  • All expenses-paid trip to the Livelihoods Camp (airfare, travel and accommodation costs)
  • A 4-day stay in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso from 23-26 February 2015
  • Valuable networking opportunities with more than 150 participants (farmers, experts, private companies, heads of NGOs, public administrations and international organizations) in order to spread the word about your project and develop it
  • Special prizes were awarded during the Livelihoods Camp to recognize the most innovative projects and initiatives
